When I started my first business (a Chinese Medicine Clinic), my partner and I were incredibly diligent and excited. We knew we had the skills and training to make the business successful and we had the passion.
We wanted to help people - to make a positive impact in the world. And even though we were trained wellness practitioners, we weren't creating wellness for ourselves.
This mirrored the pattern of overwork and burnout that I had been in years before in the non-profit world. And it was the same pattern I used when later helping another partner turn around a faltering business.
All of this left me feeling miserable and hopelessly stuck. I knew that something had to change. That's when I finally decided to take control of my life and disrupt the patterns I had been running for decades.
It begins in our eight weeks together when I'll guide you in mastering some simple, effective energetic techniques that will catalyze your superpowers. These are designed to harmonize your body, mind, heart, and spirit so there's more to support your work than just your brain and sheer determination. You'll also experience the power of unlocking the Yin (feminine) energies which will catapult you with ease to the next level of impact. By the end of the program, you'll feel calmer and grounded while simultaneously being more effective and powerful in all the important things you do.
Do you ever find yourself thinking, "there's got to be an easier way...?" I will introduce you to energetic principles that can be used to make your life easier without compromising results. Based in both ancient Eastern philosophy as well as the modern understanding of quantum physics, these energies are like tapping into a superpower that can support you in being more calm, grounded, energized and powerful - all at once.
Do you find yourself sometimes wondering who's in charge of your life? So often the "choices" we think we are making are simply patterns that have been put in place by our subconscious mind. Furthermore, a state of stress further hampers our ability to notice better options that are around us all the time. Thoughts and emotions all have an energetic resonance and in this module, we'll explore ways to recognize those energetic patterns, discern whether or not they're serving us, and how to open up to ones that will!
After the foundation set in the previous two modules, the next step is to learn how to really influence the energy in and around you. We'll start by focusing on the yin (feminine) energy which is the least utilized and most undervalued in our modern world. We'll explore not only how to tap into its resting and rejuvenating qualities but also those that support being dynamic and authentically powerful.
Once we've established a positive understanding of our Yin nature, we'll add in an exploration of yang (masculine) energy - with the goal of harmonizing the two. While untethered yang energy is rampant in our world (and leads to stress and burnout), a yang that is consciously rooted in a strong yin is like having a turbo-charged superpower that doesn't leave you drained and stressed at the end of the day.
Once you have a good feel for how to utilize and influence energy, we'll make sure you can tangibly apply these skills to your life and role as a entrepreneur or leader. This isn't just theoretical - it's incredibly practical. Working alone or with the support of a small, virtual group, you'll craft your own Yin Power Plan to guide you in moving forward with ease, efficiency and calm.
After you've had a couple of weeks to implement the Yin Power Plan in your life, we'll reconvene (virtually) as a group to share ideas, insights and successes while celebrating our powerful new skills and rejuvenated lives. We'll also explore options for future support (both group and individual).

I love to learn and I love to teach. In fact, I have been teaching Tai Chi and Qigong for over two decades now! The principles and simple movements of these ancient Chinese energetic exercises form the backbone of this program and I also draw upon my background as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner (acupuncturist). When I started combining these Chinese/Taoist based practices with modern energetic ones based in neuroscience and quantum physics, I began to see huge shifts in my own life. In short, I was much happier, energetic and productive as well as being less stressed.
Because of this, I knew I was on to something and I needed to find a way to share them with other women. I knew that this unique way of engaging the whole person (body, mind, heart, and spirit) while harmonizing the polarities of yin and yang was powerful - not only for me but also for my clients. This inspired me to create a system and get it out to the world.
I will bring my all to this and will be fully engaged and work diligently to make it a great experience for all participants. I will be compassionate but also hold you 100% accountable for your mindset and choices. I will also provide you with high-quality instructional materials that are designed to keep you motivated and engaged.
I have decades of teaching experience behind me and I've spent years living and developing the course material. Additionally, I've spent the last year intensively studying the world of online course creation and implementation - including having completed a program with someone I consider to be the best in the industry.
Furthermore, unlike many online courses that are simply running on autopilot, you will have, me, the presenter and creator, fully engaging with you throughout the duration. Additionally, registration will be capped to enable me to interact with every participant.
A: The program will begin TBA with the final week's module ending on TBA. The final celebration will be later with the date/time to be determined by the group members.
A: Registration closes TBA at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time. However, the program is limited to a maximum of 20 participants so be sure and register before it fills! Furthermore, anyone who registers before March 1st will receive a bonus 45-minute coaching session with Lauri McKean (valued at $150).
A: Generally speaking, the more you put into a class, the more you will get out. That said, I fully recognize that this program is geared towards women who are likely already TOO BUSY and don't need more on their "to-do" lists. Here's the minimum I ask you to devote to our 8 weeks together:
5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes before bed to do some simple energetic exercises/reflections without distraction.
Up to a maximum of 40 minutes per week to review the instructional videos.
Time during your day to practice awareness. This can be done while doing other activities such as driving, brushing teeth, etc.
A bit of extra time during Module 5 to craft your Yin Power Plan.
Time at the beginning and end of the course to complete a short pre and post assessment questionnaire plus the 2 private, 45-minute virtual sessions.
This adds up to an average of 15 minutes per day devoted to the class materials - plus an additional hour at the beginning of the program and an hour at the end. Additionally, you may choose to participate in the following additional ways:
Up to 60 minutes per week to participate in and/or review the replays of the "Insights & Support" videoconferences.
Up to 30 minutes per week to journal and/or complete exercises in the "Exploration Playbook."
Up to 10 minutes per week to record your participation and make short notes about your progress.
Up to 15 minutes per week to post your questions, and insights in the FB group.
A: The days and times for the live, weekly support videoconferences will be based on the greatest availability of all the participants. Materials for each week will be available to review the week before.
